The Ashes Ceremony for Chan Master John Crook

A record of the ceremony for scattering the ashes of Chan Master John Crook.

In accordance with his wishes, we held a Buddhist ceremony attended by a large group of those who have trained with him over the years, together with family members and others who also attended to pay their respects.

The final scattering was in two places, as requested by John: in the field behind the Chan Hall at Maenllwyd; and on the wilder hilltops above Maenllwyd.

(The gallery of the event is awaiting refurbishment).
