New Associate Membership Category

The WCF has introduced a new category of membership, Associate Membership.

Full membership requires attendance at a minimum of three retreats, so not all are eligible for this. We have now introduced a category of associate membership which does not require any retreat attendance. This will enable those to join our sangha who have not yet (or may never) attend our retreats.

The benefits of associate membership are similar in most respects to full membership, including a subscription to New Chan Forum, but it does not carry voting rights nor the right to be elected to the committee of the WCF because without retreat experience an associate member is not in a position to make informed decisions about the activities of the WCF.
